My dronemobile is not communicating, I keep getting network error. What should I do?

If your DroneMobile is giving you network errors, there are a few ways to solve the problem. Depending on your Model number, please check the troubleshooting steps below -

If model is DR-1000:

  • Please unhook the negative battery terminal to your vehicle.
  • Leave unplugged for 10 minutes or more before hooking it back up.
  • Wait about 5 minutes before testing Drone unit. 

If this does not work for you or you do not feel comfortable unplugging your vehicle battery please see the original installer or an authorized dealer.

If model is DR-2000/3000:

  • Cycle ignition three times using the vehicle key in the following sequence:
  • on (3 seconds)
  • off (1 seconds)
  • on (3 seconds)
  • off (1 second)
  • on (3 seconds)
  • off (1 second)
  • Wait about 5 minutes before testing drone unit.

 If after multiple attempts this does not work for you please attempt the following:

  • Please unhook the negative battery terminal to your vehicle.
  • Leave unplugged for 10 minutes or more before hooking it back up.
  • Wait about 5 minutes before testing drone unit.

If this does not work for you or you do not feel comfortable unplugging your vehicle battery please see the original installer or an authorized dealer.

If model is DR-3100/DR-3400

  1. Insert your vehicle's factory key into the ignition.
  2. Turn the key to the ON position for 7 seconds.
  3. Turn the key to the OFF position for 2 seconds and immediately back to the ON position for 7 seconds.
  4. Turn the key to the OFF position for 2 seconds and immediate back to the ON position for 7 seconds. 
  5. Turn the key to the OFF position for 2 seconds and immediate back to the ON position for 30 seconds.

6.Turn the key to the OFF position and remove the key from the ignition.

  1. Wait at least 5 minutes before sending a command using the DroneMobile app. 

 

If the above procedures do not work, please submit a request with your account information; including username/email address, contact info, vehicle, and any other relevant issues you may have with the DroneMobile unit. We will get back to you in a timely manner with a solution! Also, you can take the unit to the original installer or an Authorized Dealer for assistance.
